Biography
Ethan S. Olaguibel is an entertainment and intellectual property attorney based in Miami, Florida, and the founding attorney of ESO Law Firm. He represents artists, creators, and entrepreneurs across the entertainment, media, and sports industries, focusing on brand protection, licensing, contract negotiation, and rights management.
Before establishing his firm, Ethan gained experience at a leading entertainment law practice, where he worked on trademark filings, recording and publishing agreements, and licensing matters for clients across the music and creative sectors. He also clerked for both County and Circuit Court judges in Miami-Dade County, where he strengthened his foundation in legal research, drafting, and courtroom procedure. These experiences provided him with a comprehensive understanding of both transactional and litigation matters within the entertainment and business landscape.
As a classically trained double bassist, Ethan has performed on Grammy-nominated albums and contributed to an Emmy Award–winning production in 2017 (Video Game Concert 2017, Special Event Coverage). His musical career includes collaborations with renowned artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Céline Dion, Gloria Estefan, Seal, Stevie Wonder, and Major Laser, as well as performances with The Philadelphia Orchestra, the Metropolitan Opera, and the New World Symphony. On the managerial side, he has also worked alongside international recording artist Koffee, which has given him a multifaceted understanding of the artistic and business dimensions of the industry.
Ethan earned his Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University College of Law, where he received a Certificate in Intellectual Property Law, and is currently pursuing his LL.M. in Entertainment, Arts & Sports Law at the University of Miami School of Law.
